"Be silent, O all flesh, before the Lord, for he is raised up out of his holy habitation." Zechariah 2: 13

I just happened to look out the window this evening and was surprised to see this young fawn.
It was with another fawn at the time but its sibling was moving too fast for me to get a decent capture. The mother Doe behind an apple tree was hidden in the tall grass...It was just beginning to get dark.

View best in light-box! Thank you!

Thank you for your comments...Yes, Jaume, it is luck and maybe intuition too that I happened to look out the window the same time as the fawn approached out of the tall weeds...A lot of photography is catching the moment, but being there at the right moment as well before it passes is important too...I love nature as it opens the eyes to these opportunities!

Nice to see the young deer, I think the dog next door has discourged our deer from coming around during daylight hours. There is also a friend who lives less than a mile away that has been feeding them so I don't seem them quite as often as I used to.
