"An honest and good heart having heard the word keep at it and bring forth fruit
with patience"...St. Luke 7: 15

I was told It took three years time for this lady that won the Grand Champion prize to complete this fantastic needlepoint of Abe Lincoln at a party.. The needlepoint originally behind a matted glassed frame is not showing in my photo because I had to change the position of my camera so that the reflections didn't glare in the glass.

Not only does this woman have wonderful talent but also blessed with patience and determination.

I cannot imagine the patience and love that must have gone into this...outstanding in both image taken and artistry.

Thank you for the comments...I agree Lynn....I couldn't even begin to start on a
needlepoint as beautiful as this let alone finish it....My home economics teacher
in high school once told me when I was 14 years old and at an impressionable age that the dress I was required to sew was the worst sewing she had ever seen, which is why I admire others who are blessed with inborn abilities to complete a task like this and achieve flawless results....

This does require tons of patience to finish something like this and do such an excellent job!!!
