All things were made by him and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life and the life was the light.....St. John 1:3-4

It was very dark outside when I shot this through the rolled-glass window in our kitchen. It is difficult to get a clear focus through this window behind our sink as it produces sort of a dreamy impressionist effect.... Interestingly I only saw the mother doe at first and then her two fawns joined her...The fawn on the far left rushed into the picture at the exact moment I pressed the shutter button... They had been eating apples off the ground but left the scene after I shot this image..

Thank you so much John Tanner for your spotlight and kind words 8/19/2016...I appreciate it!

Thank you David de London for nominating my photo, 8/19/2016. Also appreciated.

View best in Light-Box! Thanks!

Andrea I love this beautiful photo.
We have a doe with two fawns living in one of our fields.
There's a tree line that seperates the field from our house
Almost every night just before sunset mother doe brings her fawns out to play in the field.

We don't allow hunting on the property so the deer seem to feel safe.
They're just amazing beautiful creatures and we enjoy their company.
Thank you so much for your wonderful comment about my memorial to my sweet Autumn.
My sincere condolences to your family members as well.
Losing a much loved and cherished pet is always painful isn't it

I wish you many years of happiness and joy with Tippi
All the best and thanks again !!

Thank you all very much for your response. I did have another entry earlier for the Pictorial theme but I feel this fits the requirements better for the fact it has a soft focus because of the type of old rolled-glass window I shot it through!
