This Daffodil bud Is ready to open and has a head start over the others growing beside it...This afternoon it got rained on and we are predicted snow flurries Monday at midnight for two hours. Thought I would shoot a picture of the daffodil bud before it gets snowed on:) I set an orange cardboard mat behind.

Snow flurries!!! We are looking at another hot summer, which I dread. Right now the weather is perfect and I wish that it would stay this was all summer. You have a good capture of the Daffodil bud and the orange cardboard mat behind it shows the best side of the Daffodil :-)

The mat provides a very complimentary background color for this little beauty! We've just had two days of rain and the ground is already still saturated from last year so it is flooding a bit in some areas.
