"Who covers thyself with light as with a garment: who stretches out the heavens like a curtain...Psalm 4: 2"

Thru' the curtain
Tippi, sits down to spy....
Of this she is certain
But doesn't know why,
That squirrels can fly....
As high as the sky!!!

┬ęPoetry by me AJP

I caught Tippi looking up through the opening of the curtain early this morning as she saw a gray squirrel flying from the feeder to the window and then to the upper side of the house. The young squirrels give Tippi a hard time and the window takes quite a beating too with smudge marks, etc. (Maybe why my bird pictures don't always look so sharp shooting through the window:)

At least pulling the curtain across discourages the female cardinal from attacking her reflection now when she comes to the feeder. Whenever I see that she is about to fly on the window I pull the curtain all the way across...Tippi, knows how to get between so that she can look out .She has her own window seat to her theater of natures kingdom.

What a clever little lady she is. I can just imagine what she's thinking about those 'flying' squirrels.. this is a beautiful pose and capture!

Tippi is such a character, reminds me of the dog I used to have. "Bear" would look through the strip of glass in the old front door I had. I think he even broke it one time when a rival dog came up near our front door.
