Memories how they linger
Playing games of the past!
A self timer to remember,
Is when Tippi joined cast
As a canine member!

New words we can find
in Scrabble for the mind
But doesn't always define
Old moments well spent
And what it meant!

I have been going over my archival pictures and it brought back a flood of memories~ Florence, our friend on this picture passed away on January 14, 2015. We played many Scrabble games with her at her house...She was a smart lady and a beautiful soul. it is so important to preserve those precious memories of life that matter in pictures before they are gone.

I was just setting the self timer on my camera on the mantle to join them at the table when Tippi jumped on the chair. I think she felt she had to fill that empty seat and pretend she was one of the players:) You can see another sequel to this picture when I reset the timer with Tippi on my lap licking my face and still on the chair when I joined my husband and Florence for a portrait of all of us...at the link in comment section below.

Best view in light-box! Thank you!

Thank you all for your kind words...Whenever I think of Florence I remember the good times we had with her. We usually played Scrabble after we ate the delicious lunch she served. She was a treasure and an inspiration to all who had the privilege to know her.
