Pulled a frozen zinnia free
Who asked me plaintively
"Oh where did autumn go?"
Wish I could tell her why
Flowers can't live in snow.....
Before we bid goodbye.....

Thank you for your comments..I thought this Zinnia still maintained its beauty even though it
was snowed under when I picked it up from the ground...

The zinnia is really a beauty and hardy through the snow, which I cannot believe. I see you may get more...sorry.

Even the toughest and hardiest blossoms give in to snow I guess.. it always makes me a little sad. This one stands out so beautifully here!
