I am finding it incredible that the heavy squirrels such as this fox squirrel, haven't tipped the glass dish over the edge even when sitting on the edge of it! They have good balance.

I changed the routine this past week of not scattering seeds on the main wooden feeder as I have done for a number of years but instead using the glass dish to pour it into as too many seeds were wasted, spilling over the edge unto the snowy ground. The birds love it and the squirrels are now adjusting to the change.. I take the glass dish in at night in case a visiting raccoon or possum breaks the dish tipping it over the edge:)

Best View in Light Box!!! Thank you!!!

A wonderful close-up of this cute little guy! He obviously approves of your new feeder, too..
