Q: I am really into my wildlife photography but cannot afford a super zoom lens, I have a 300mm and am considering a teleconvertor. Has anybody had a experience with these and would you recommend them?

A: Do you know?

I shot a series of snowy street candids on January 24th after our blizzard on the 22nd..There was still a lot of snow heaped up two days later. The little pine trees here were almost covered by the snow banks .. From this angle you don't see the sidewalk that this fellow is walking on as it was shot from across the street where we stopped to get gas for our car.

Great perspective on the height of the snow banks. My yard is looking a lot like this too after we had a huge snow storm last night and I got stuck driving home from town in it, too. Major whiteouts and was I glad to get home safely.
