I wasn't able to view the eclipse, unfortunately, but I was able to capture the Super Blue Moon at approximately 0600 on the morning of January 31, 2018.

This shot is hand-held with the Sigma 150-600mm f/5.6-6.3 lens on a Canon 5D body. ISO400, 600mm, f/6.3 @ 1/2000s.

I'm still working on how to get a beautiful shot as this one!

Thank you, both. Ioana, the biggest thing to remember about shooting the moon - and the one thing a lot of folks forget - is that it's basically a giant light bulb in the sky. So, low ISO and fairly fast shutter speed will get you better results than you may think - even handheld. Of course, the long lens really helps, too. :)
