Tippi, was keeping my husband company in the wood shed yesterday when I happened to look out and saw a cotton tail rabbit speeding by and shortly after that along came Tippi...I don't know if she flushed it out of the wood shed but she was fully aware of the tracks and ran a little ways to another shed ... the rabbit by that time was long gone, She kept investigating for a short while and then came in out of the cold. She is not the typical Chihuahua that she is mixed with but more like the Jack Russell side in her nature. She will be 5 years old in May .... still alert, cute and precocious...plus we enjoy spoiling her but she spoils us just as much.

It is hard to believe it is spring when the ground is covered with snow and we are still burning
wood for heat in the house and have been since October. Last year in early April we had spring flowers blooming.... maybe after all of this snow melts the flowers will benefit from the ground moisture when it is time for them to bloom again...It will just be later this year.

A great capture of Tippi in her element and I love that pose! Last year our snow was gone by this time, what a total contrast to this year!

Tippi keeping an eye on everything...love it! I like your theory that this extra moisture will bring an abundance of spring flowers!

Thank you all for the comments...Tippi has the all seeing eye:) ...This morning the rabbit who
keeps getting away zipped right on by her like it was teasing her and Tippi ran after it half way
and then gave up.the chase as she knew she couldn't run as fast as the cotton tail rabbit:)
