This is my second capture in 2 weeks of an Egret nabbing a bullfrog in the basin behind my house. It's just as amazing watching them swallow the whole thing. It was a little sad this time, cause the frog was screaming.

    Oh no...the bull frog screaming....poor thing!...Clearly portrays survival of the fittest. The bullfrog is no match to the egret. We have a American goldfinch who comes to our feeder that lost one of its eyes and not sure if it got poked by a branch or if a predator tried to nab it...but otherwise it appears healthy and has a good appetite!

    Ahh nature can be very sad but beautiful at the same time. Conflicting at times.. but you captured a fantastic photo! hard to get this activity on camera so great job!
