"...He that formed the eye, shall he not see? Psalms 94: 9"

This really stood out after rain this morning which emphasized it more... Interesting to detect these things formed in nature. I deepened the contrast of the "eye circular shape" through auto level in photo shop to bring it out even clearer, but the rain we have had off and on the last two days saturated the colors. Otherwise on a dry day it is not seen as sharply.

On the other side of this little poplar tree is a wren house on a post with a Korean Lilac Bush in front. I have seen this eye formation before but not as evident as it was today where even the lines curving around it stood out..It pays to shoot pictures after a rain shower.

Eye in a Poplar tree
Is visible for us to see......
By how God in scripture
Formed nature to be......
And seen thru' a picture!

Thank you all for your comments ...Trees definitely are incredible when you study some of
the growths that are on them..I agree it certainly does look like an elephant eye when it is
brought up close in a macro shot..However, from a distance such as you see on the shot
(where I am including a link) without using macro it looks just ordinary! On dry days without
rain it fades into the bark. You have to have the eyes to see it.

what a great find. Such a natural look of the eye.... Hats off to the artist. However trees also feel the warms of local people around. They can not see but they have the same life what we have.
