Q: I've noticed that five of my uploads have " Hot" in front of the caption. Why are they caterogized that way ?

A: Do you know?

He was hunting a black and white-winged mosquito when I caught this photo. Either the mosquito was digesting a blood meal, or it was sleeping or both. It wasn't moving, and earlier I caught a damselfly (Powdered Dancer) with one of the same mosquitoes in its mouth dining in the peppers. I think it may be a young male green lynx spider. The females are few and far between, and I might mention, despite flowers blooming for a while now - NO BEES.

This little guy, I just found out, is a Magnolia Jumping Spider which makes sense. The magnolia tree is about 5' away.
