Caught this unusual colored gosling in with a huge group of Canada Geese on Crystal Lake recently. Its beak has a different slope to it and the head is light colored. It might be leucistic or maybe it's a cross between the Canada and a Snow or Brandt's Goose. In any case it's the first one I've run into but it seems to fit in very well with the rest of the crowd. In the end, that's what really matters.

    What a unique find and you capture it beautifully...I love that the other geese are accepting the gosling as part of their family...What fun to be there at the right time and place to see this!!!
