With the thunderstorm and rain in the middle of the night, some of the flowers took a while to unfold their petals.

    I know what you mean about flowers taking awhie to unfold...We also have been getting so much rain and still raining this morning as I am typing this! It started pouring again after I put the bird containers out and of course everything is swimming in water!:) Rain does bring great colors to the flowers such as in your shot!
