14.3 miles from my door is this beautiful spring, pretty much "undeveloped", which means peaceful and natural. The butterflies were flitting in the sunshine, and the stormy sky was to the south. From this 9' cave comes 72 degree F water at all times of the year. It bubbles up through the Florida aquifer and fills a navigable basin in the cypress swamp and there's an outlet further down that joins Econfina Creek and the other springs along the way. It flows down past my circle to fill Deerpoint Lake and empties into St. Andrews Bay. It's so pretty and peaceful.
