".....Who walks upon the wings of the wind....Psalm 104:3"

We had what I would describe as a severe storm yesterday off and on throughout the day into the evening.... we got tornado warnings on our cell phone to seek shelter and then a surprise automated phone message 2 minutes later to say that we would not be getting the tornado predicted in our area...

However, the wind was very strong with lightning and thunder plus torrential rain.. Our power was off
for a half hour...My main worry was if the birds found shelter ...It was good to see several of the birds including a tiny female migratory Ruby Throated hummingbird flew to the feeder today...The female cardinal lifted her wings as if to say she was fine and doing well.

As mentioned, the hummers and all the birds are so hardy! Great shot and be careful of those storms.

I love her 'windblown hair do" here.. she's so incredibly beautiful.. and I'm glad the birds weathered the 'weather' so well. They seem to know where to find safety at times like that. An excellent capture, Andrea.. and I'm glad you didn't get the tornado!
