a layman's still life

I've mentioned before that I never alter a shot. I shoot em as I see em. I figure the world is just screwy enough, no need to screw with it more. When I'm out I run into some pretty odd things (as do a lot of us I assume)... this one, shot on X-Mas eve, stands out as one of the oddest.
I have no idea what went on to make this happen.
