This place is special to me because it's in my home state, Vermont, and on the campus of the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference, which I've attended several times. When sitting in this spot, the rest of the world falls away. Before you: only field, hills, sky, and that one mowed path for the mind to follow. It's the perfect place for quiet contemplation.
