Welcome to nowhere, seriously. This was a dead zone. Nothing but flat straight roads and white sand... with maybe one or two weird sites, like this one. The World Tree.

Shot this while driving on Interstate 80 in Salt Lake, Utah. Day 4 of our trip driving from Toronto to San Francisco back in August.

    It's actually not sand, it's a vast salt deposit. You coulda licked the ground if you wanted, he he. I passed this on the way to a shoot on the salt flats only two days ago, it really is in the middle of nowhere...
