Purple Sky At The Park

A day after my birthday I went to the park down my street to do what I love to do most, photograph. There was a baseball game going on and the field was lit up. The light from the nearby baseball diamond poured across the whole park. When this photo was taken the sun had just disappeared behind the horizon and was still lighting up the sky. The combination of the artificial light from the baseball diamond with the fading sunlight created the most spectacular colours. I've come to this park to watch thunderstorm clouds building in the late afternoon and meteor showers at 2 in the morning. It has become more than just a park, but a place of memories and great photographs.

Kind of reminds me of a park I visited in PA this summer. Now I'm wishing I'd taken my camera out while there! Very nice!
