The Image has been taken during el Dia de los Muertos religious Procession in the East Village in NYC, five man in tunics and a thick hangers rope tight around the neck where caring a tronned Saint, (looked like virgin Mary) on their shoulders. Women where following the Saint, their hair where covered with white veils. While chanting they would swing pots of incense during the whole procession and a small band played along behind them. It was a quite unexpected sight in middle of the city and quite beautiful to observe.
