Residents and children of Pamuhi village preparing Assamese traditional â€œMejiâ€ (thached hut and tomb made with dry straw after harvesting) for the community night- feast of â€œBhogali Bihuâ€ on the bank of Deepor Beel in the outskirts of Guwahati on Friday, January 11, 2008. Assamese people celebrate â€œBhogali Bihuâ€ after harvesting as apart of their traditional ritual. The celebration will statrt on 14th January all through Assam in northeast India.
