I was on board HSV2 Swift during this spectacular scene in the Caribbean during the formation of a tropical storm before it caused havoc. I was born during hurricane Andrew back in April of 1979, and during my childhood I have lived through seven of them. The winds sound like packs of howling wolfs, while the trees whistle in a desperate but yet harmonic way. Wooden houses rack back and fourth and in many occasions the tin roof fly off letting the rain in. The desperation, the agony of survivor inflicts the senses leading the human towards the nearest save haven; in many cases that might be under the bed or a table. If Noir suggest danger or violence due to its dark and dramatic way, then perhaps this picture and the meaning of the word have a lot in common.
