Spiritual Light
A candle lights the alter in Pluscarden Abbey. It welcomes visitors who are attracted by its warmth. They find inner peace in the quietness and ambience of the moment.

Fraser. I saw you shoot this. In truth it's tack perfect. The light speaks volumes. There are so many little things about this picture that rings out as if Rembrant painted this image in the dark of night in his studio for weeks. You can see the detail in how the textures catch the throw light. The different surfaces illuminate light unique to it's own character of material. For on candle to be so complete with it's subject matter says more that the power found in big bold images with impact. BUt your one images stands as a lesson and milestone to all that want to know something very big like the air we breath on a mountain top talking to God. You have become a spirit walker and I'm glad you are my friend. I look forward to our next outing with cameras.

The light has been captured well. It does convey warmth and interestingly there are two focal points which compliment each other. The lamp and the picture. Great exposure work.
