I saw the picture and I knew right off it was San Francisco. I think it is very particular to that city and is quite representative. Anyone who has roamed the streets would recognize it in a heartbeat. And all thos hills going down to the bay.

I have seen this row. I have a similar house from New Bedford, MA posted. It is a triple decker. They are wonderful old houses, and your shot is wonderful, too.
