cemetery,kolkata.grave where a person had been buried ten minutes earlier.smoke from incense sticks is seen coming out from the grave.earth,freshly dug up from the grave can be seen clinging to the sides.
i love to stroll through cemeteries,both christian and hindu.
on a physical plane,cemeteries comprise a large portion of our surroundings;
on a more philosophical plane,cemetries are places which speak of lost tales,of lost love,of lost hopes,people forgotten,people who once surronded us and were perhaps a very essential part of us.........
today,the entire world is on the verge of becoming an entire graveyard......
what with genocides,invasions,ethnic cleansing and various other unnameable atrocities being commited daily.....
by each one of us....
let us try to turn the tide before it is too late......
