Otterly Awesome
Taken at a Zoo trying out my Canon 400D for the first time. Sadly I was limited to a 50mm prime lens which hampered my ability to take pictures of some of the animals.
Fortunately a pair of Otters were lively models, and I managed to capture one of them either yawning or yowling.
I think the blurred mesh of the cage, while obscuring, adds something to the photo.

Sorry, the mesh is really distracting and spoils the overall effect. It's a shame as the beast does have an interesting pose.

The mesh cutting across the mouth is an unfortunate obstruction. The capture of the yawn is quite striking and for me, the mesh gets in the way. But what can you do? Cute photo anyway :)
