Bethesda, Maryland (1980) - After completing my first tour of duty abroad as a diplomat, I returned to The Bahamas in December, 1980 and was assigned to the Broadcasting Corporation of The Bahamas as Assistant Editor. There, and as an Assistant to the Director of News, I co-anchored both radio and television news. I was re-posted for a second tour of duty in December, 1984 (again) to Washington DC., Ambassador R. Wood was Head Of Mission, and the Second Bahamian to be accredited to Washington DC as Bahamas Ambassador to the United States. Jennifer and I in conversation here with Ambassador Wood at the Ambassador's residence in Bethesda, Maryland.
