Here in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, there is a certain value that is present which I believe is the idea of untouched nature mixed with things slowly decaying. Nature mixed with evidence of the past somehow still present in a modern world. When I saw this in my viewfinder I really liked the contrast of the living tree and the inanimate building, because both were deteriorating beautifully.
