I live in the cherry capital of the world. Every year we have a festival celebrating them that triples the population of our town for a week. There are offered up for consumption in many glorious forms pies, jams, and juices. You can even get a cherry burger. I prefer mine in their natural state. The best part is that you can spit the pits out any where you want. Its not polite to spit them at other people though.
