In February, I took a trip with a friend to Butterfly World, Edinburgh, Scotland. As well as butterflies, they also had reptiles, scorpions, other insects, and a whole network overhead of ropes, which acted as a bridge for these little guys to carry bits of leaf back to their nest.

There was also a camera set up, watching the leaf-cutting ants, but they zoomed past, much like pedestrians in a street during rush hour.

Outstanding. I shot an ant nest last fall. Interesting behavior patterns. Love your photos!
