There it is....! The image that I saw as a kid that made me terrified of snakes! I was fishing off a fallen tree, slipped, fell in the water and looked up and saw that exact image in the hollow of that fallen tree, like 2 feet from my face!! Thanks for reigniting a deep fear. LOL Great work.

Oh God - I KNOW this face! No dog was safe, no boat, and water skiing, I've had these swim by my bare legs, over my ski, and continue on towards a smaller meal! Contraband Bayou in Lake Charles is FULL of them! NO wonder I learned to ski so well - just to get ABOVE that water!

excellent shot, i didn't see this one the first time through. Up here, the northern water snake, which is harmless, is mistaken for these by the unfamiliar who think every snake that swims is a cottonmouth.
