This is about the memory of my mother - both a beacon of love and something that has faded. I worry someday I may forget her smile.

This is one of those rare photos that I glanced it, thought a cursory "nice," and started to scroll past, then stopped and looked at for several long minutes. I think its the understated nature that sneaks up on you and its poignancy takes more than a few seconds to hit. Nice -- thank you.
