Oh my gosh! This is the cutest narrative photo! The composition and color scheme suggests a classic children's story, and it's great that the cat is giving such an energy filled straight on stare.

I don't know if you shoot analogue or not, but if you do you might find that Fuji NPC would suit your style of shooting. It's got a kind of warmth that I thing would really go with your interiors and the tones in the last few photos. (shakes head in shame for being such a geek...) -

Hey Tim, thanks for the advice. Right now I shoot mostly digital under tungsten balanced lights. I'm hoping one day to be able to shoot 4x5 with strobes, at which point I'd want to test a bunch of stocks, but I'll try to keep Fuji NPC in mind. Thanks to everyone else as well for all your comments and encouragement.

I love this, but I would love it more with a contrast bump. It is a little flat and at first glance looks under exposed. Just a thought! Got my vote regardless.

Wow. I love this photo. I have a friend who just left to move out to Portland today from Ohio and is taking his cat. This reminds me of him because he too has his bags packed and his cat on a leash. :)
