© mylatehope.comOne of my favorite photographers on JPG is Lis Bokt. I love her style, her sense of color, and the great angles she uses to capture her subjects (often herself). I've been playing with my D40 a lot since I got it back from Nikon's repair center. I wanted to see if I could approximate her style using only options within the camera. The great thing about this little project is that it forced me to research every menu option to put this together. I can't wait to try some other fun shots!
Pay no attention to my very geeky library! No comments about that Polaroid bookmark in my back pocket either!!!
Nikon D40 with Nikon 18-55mm II lens @ 40mm f/5 ISO 200, Ia color mode (soft) & Incandescent white balance, with a Nikon SB400 flash on a very tall tripod using a 10 second self timer. No photoshop manipulation!
