I've lived in the Bay Area almost all my life, but these are actually the first pictures I've ever taken of the Golden Gate Bridge! This was taken from Fort Point. I guess my parents took me here when I was a child, but I don't remember it. In more recent years, every time I've tried to go out to the city to photograph the Bridge, it's been foggy and/or overcast and the Bridge isn't even visible! So yesterday, I was extemely lucky; it was the perfect clear, sunny day, with lots of fresh air, and a new, fresh view for me!

I've shot this from the opposite hill (like everyone!) It was the clearest night possible. I thought the fog was the rarity.

This is Awesome Laurie! I love the "baseline" at the lower end of the image which is the roof ridge of Fort Point. It really adds dimension to your image.
By the way, Is Fort Point now open to the public ?? Last time I was there (6 months ago) it was under refurbishing and closed to the public.
