My wife and I at the summit of Mt. Diablo in Walnut Creek, Ca. We set up a tripod to take a picture of ourselves and just as the shutter fired the sun dipped between us. The sun flare was completely unintentional.

The sunsets in the mt diablo region are gorgeous, they light the hills on fire. I have the privelege of driving an hour to class on 680 to concord and i get to the campus right as the sun is setting. I really should bring my camera one of these days, especially before the days get shorter

Ok..... there is a piece of a wall at the bottom that I tried to darken with black. That is the only photoshop that is present. Everything else including the sun flare is completely real. I will send anyone who wants the original file to look at.
