Canada Afresh

I love these beautiful, newly opened Poplars that I shot in Old Quarry Park, Ontario, last May 24th.

When I lived in the Yukon, I was able to see the durability of Poplar in the pre-Cambrian forests around Whitehorse.

Except for Jackpines and these Poplars, trees do not grow well because of the extreme length of the cold winter in the Yukon.
