Once a beautiful vessel, now a haunting site. In this photograph, you can see the remains of the S.S. Atlantus. Also referred to as the floating tombstone by many seamen who once served on this ship. There are a handful of stories as to what had happened to this ship and why half of its remains peak out of the ocean's surface right off of the crashing surf of Cape May Point in New Jersey. Whether it be a simple failure because of its concrete makeup or a terrifying ghost story that brought this massive ship down, the remains are an eerie site to see.
