Fire Hydrant
One day in downtown Seattle at the end of the shoot, I was leaving the parking garage. As I loaded up my gear into the car I looked over the edge of the parking garage. In the sea of concrete and pavement I saw this fire hydrant all alone. This was the only thing that had any color in it at all. So, I took the shot. Oddly enough, this was the best shot of the day.

This is a fantastic shot. I often pass by these things but the color / lighting / contrast is never right., You have caught it well. Very nice shot.

This reminds me. Once I had a model fail to show. The rain came and went but she thought it had cancelled the shoot. I was livid. Nonetheless, I went out with the energy I had saved for her shoot. I shot a leaf ( not yet posted). It was the best shot of the month. We never know when.

I love the way the red just jumps out at you. The contrast is perfect.
