Hello Jan,
Taraxacum officinale is one of the most common native flowers in the Netherlands too (you can eat it very well, like people in the Middle-ages did, instead of salad). But this is the prettiest Taraxacum officinale that I ever saw on a picture!

I grew up in Maryland and yes I have many fond memories of blowing on these :-) I had no idea that they are edible? O.O This is one of the most stunning pictures I've ever seen of this. The blowy offy things are so perfectly even.
