Abundance.
As an artist in resdience in Casas Grandes Mexico, I have been inspired to create a still life series. Using natural light that comes into the 1890 adobe that has been my home away from home, I have been creating a still life series exploring symbols of life and death in the Mexican tradition of painting. This image is fertile. ripe. full of possibliities. Sweet. TAngy! For me it celebrates LIfe, the red string the common thread, a bloodline.
