House Lights
It is kind of bittersweet to see all the development on this lake. At one time it was a sleepy outpost for middle class cabins and a small ski resort for winter fun. Now people have built tons of million-dollar plus houses, the lakefront property is sky high (well out of reach of the original people who put modest little cabins to enjoy the summer with their family in.) Since the area needs the tourism dollars badly, I am glad to see that so many people are contributing to make the area nice, but at the same time, as I see the mountain tops and lakefront lots with houselights where there used to be pure nature I can't help but feel a little sad.
