Nice story dude! You're absolutely right about b&w films...they seem to render everything better, from details to bokeh. There's a quality to the highlights and lowlights that even the best digital cameras have a tough time matching. Out of interest, have you tried any of the Fuji Acros and Neopan films - I'm becoming quite a fan.
