Scooping a pile of coal
Moving a fresh pile of coal to giant trucks. Three tractors make up a unit. The giant drag-line, the giant crane, a very big tractor and giant trucks that use to haul the coal to the next station for processing.
The Background vista is just a small area of this open face mine.
In the When mother earth trembled photo essay.

These tractors are huge for sure. Like Tonka trucks for grown-ups.

Huge crane at work showing coal, but the entire back ground is an open mine. Massive.
