Leap of Faith
We like to say what we think. We think we know what we say. We even think we know what we know for sure.
But sometimes it seems we simply hope that we know for sure.
This is the leap of faith we take each time we stand behind our country, our flag - even with flaws and imperfections - and have faith that we are doing our very best.
And if we are not we can rest assured that someone will say so. And be thankful that someone has the freedom to say so.
So even though I don't agree with every action our country takes, I can always agree on everything it stands for and be thankful and take that leap of faith that I'm in the right place, in the right time, and things might work out for mankind after all one day.
Technically this object does not "leap" but it does cause, for some, a leap in the heart, in the mind, in the spirit.
As might be so for any man when veiwing his own flag, plauged with his own doubt, followed by his own leap of faith.
