Climbing the Falls
In spite of the miserable poverty, construction, destruction, and rampant discouragement we found in Jamaica, there is still beauty.
After a two hour bus ride, a short boat ride, and then wading through the water, we were able to climb alongside Dunn's River Falls. Not only is it beautiful, but it's easily accessible.
While I was climbing the steps along the side with my wife and camera, a large group of people climbed the falls. They held hands in one long chain as they climbed the steeper parts, and stopped to consider and enjoy as they reached the flatter parts.
This is one small section of the chain as they climbed.

Great shot, Steven. this brings back memories as my husband and I climbed these falls 15 years ago on our honeymoon:)

great shot! would have been absolutely perfect if it weren't for the floatey head at the bottom or the cutoff corner...
