it's a joy to take pictures of alex, from guadalajara, mexico's DISIDENTE, one of guadalajara's (a city of 5 million) best live bands, and a cool guy as well. hope you like it!

shot with a canon 30d, 70-200 2.8., one of my first shows with the new lens. i went out into the crowd of about 2,000 rabid fans. it's a shell-shapped outdoor theatre. because it was a rock conciert, of course nobody was in their seats, so i stood on the seats with the rest of them. a bit risky, bc easily somebody could have bumped me hard and dumped me, but ya gotta risk something for great photos, right?

Yeah, I like it. You definitely caught the energy and emotion that's necessary for a successful rock photo. I also like how the musician is framed by the dry ice smoke. It looks like he is jumping out from the clear area right behind him. Good work, you got my vote.

I really like the way you were able to isolate the guitarist from the rest of the stage surroundings and capture him in midair. I think you did an excellent job in a difficult lighting situation.

Yeah nice Marshall, good action and some great light too. It reminds me of that famous image of The Clash on the front of the London's Calling album.
